So, it turns out that my little cold is actually a fever, sinus infection, and bronchial infection, all rolled into one miserable package. Whilst I sat there in his office hacking up a lung, the doctor—leaning closer to my face—said, "Right now, you might be contagious." He also said I should rest and take it easy, and be O.K. to go back to school on Monday. I'm to take an antibiotic pill the size of a grub twice a day, for the next 10 days, and I have an inhaler–to be used either every 6 hours, or as needed.
I just want to curl up next to Will and fall asleep. I feel pathetic and cold. My room is like ice. I'm leaving my PS2 on tonight, in hopes that it will heat the place up, as it has in the past... or, at least, let's hope it was the PS2 and not the TV that generated all that warmth. Meh. I think I must be living with snowmen.
